Day 1 : Arrival in Kigali – Scenic Transfer to Nyungwe with Cultural Stop
• Arrival at Kigali International Airport / Hotel Pickup – Meet your driver-guide and start your journey southwest.
• En-Route Stop at the King’s Palace Museum in Nyanza – Step back into Rwanda’s royal palace, see traditional huts, learn about the monarchy, and meet the famous long-horned Inyambo cows.
• Scenic Drive to Nyungwe – Travel through Rwanda’s lush rolling hills, tea plantations, and villages. The drive itself is an adventure, with endless photography opportunities.
• Evening Arrival at Nyungwe National Park – Settle into your lodge on the edge of the rainforest. Enjoy dinner surrounded by nature’s symphony of crickets and jungle calls.

Day 2 : Chimpanzee Trekking & Canopy Walkway Adventure
• 04:30 AM – Early Start for Chimpanzee Trek – Head deep into the forest with experienced trackers and guide. Follow the calls and rustling leaves until you find chimpanzee troops leaping through trees, drumming on trunks, and communicating in their wild, energetic way. Locking eyes with a chimp in its natural home is unforgettable and feels like meeting a long-lost cousin.
• Return to Lodge for Lunch & Refreshment
• Afternoon Canopy Walk Adventure – Walk across a 160m suspension bridge, 70m above the forest floor. From this bird’s-eye view, you’ll spot monkeys, exotic birds, and an endless green horizon. The canopy walkway is like flying — an adrenaline rush with breathtaking rainforest views and monkeys leaping on branches.
• Evening Relaxation – Enjoy dinner and stargazing in the tranquil highlands.

Day 3 : Waterfall Hike, Optional Zip-Line & Return to Kigali
• Morning Optional Zip-Line Adventure – For thrill-seekers, glide above the trees on Rwanda’s only rainforest zip-line, an exhilarating way to embrace Nyungwe’s wild beauty.
• Waterfall Hike (Kamiranzovu or Isumo Waterfall Trail) – Trek through dense rainforest to a spectacular waterfall, surrounded by orchids, butterflies, and vibrant birdlife. • Afternoon Scenic Drive Back to Kigali – Journey through tea-covered hills and rolling landscapes.
