Day 1 : Welcome to Kigali – Gateway to Adventure
• Arrive at Kigali International Airport, where your expert driver-guide meets and welcomes you.
• Transfer to your hotel and gear up for the journey ahead.
• If time allows, enjoy a quick Kigali city tour, explore vibrant markets, local culture, and the city’s bustling vibe.
Overnight : Hotel in Kigali.
Day 2 : Gorilla Trekking & Cultural Discovery
• Early morning departure for Volcanoes National Park (2.5–3 hours of scenic drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills).
• 07:00 AM – Gorilla Trekking Briefing : Get ready for the ultimate adventure ! Your park guide will lead you deep into the misty forest to track a gorilla family.
• Start the trek. Expect steep climbs, muddy trails, and heart-pounding excitement as you search for these gentle giants.
• When encountered, spend an amazing hour in the presence of a gorilla family watching silverbacks, mothers, and playful juveniles in their natural habitat. A memory for a lifetime !
• Afternoon : Visit the Gorilla Guardians Village (Iby’Iwacu Cultural Center) to immerse yourself in Rwandan traditions, learn warrior dances (Intore), drumming, and many ancient customs.
Overnight : Eco-lodge near Volcanoes National Park.
Day 3 : Golden Monkey Trek & Return to Kigali
• After breakfast, set out for a Golden Monkey trek a lively adventure chasing these rare primates through bamboo forests. Their playful energy and impish behavior make this a thrilling finale to your trip.
• Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation.
• Afternoon drive back to Kigali, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport for your onward journey.
